We teach the field

Avira School for Human Embryology & Reproductive Medicine (ASHERM)

In short

What makes Avira's lab credible?

Avira doesn't just practise reproductive medicine — it teaches it. Through ASHERM, we run an M.Sc. in Clinical Embryology (with Chaitanya, a Deemed University) and the IMA-AMS Fellowship in Infertility, with embryologists carrying 20+ years of experience and dedicated lab training.

A teaching institution, not just a clinic

An institution trusted to train the next generation of embryologists has to hold itself to a higher standard of lab rigour, governance and documentation. That standard is felt in the care of every patient, every day.

Our academic programmes

  • M.Sc. in Clinical Embryology — in collaboration with Chaitanya, a Deemed University.
  • IMA-AMS Fellowship in Infertility — a one-year fellowship with a respected faculty.

An honest boundary

ASHERM is proof of expertise and lab rigour — not a claim about any individual patient's outcome. We're proud of what it represents, and careful never to bend it into a promise.

Questions people ask

What is ASHERM?

ASHERM is the Avira School for Human Embryology & Reproductive Medicine. It runs an M.Sc. in Clinical Embryology (in collaboration with Chaitanya, a Deemed University) and the IMA-AMS Fellowship in Infertility — meaning Avira doesn't just practise reproductive medicine, it teaches it.

Why does a teaching school matter for my care?

An institution that teaches embryology signals lab depth, governance and standards well beyond a typical clinic. It's a sign of expertise and rigour. To be honest, though, it's a proof of expertise — not a claim about any individual patient's outcome.
