Advertising & ethics
We treat how we communicate as seriously as how we care. This is our commitment.
In short
How does Avira advertise ethically?
We never guarantee success or publish blanket success rates as promises, never use fear or pressure, and never offer or entertain sex determination or selection (illegal under the PC-PNDT Act). We work within the ART Act, PC-PNDT Act and ASCI/DMR advertising norms — and our claims are reviewed by medical and compliance teams.
What we will never do
- Guarantee a pregnancy, or publish a blanket success rate as a promise.
- Use fear, urgency, shame or pressure to persuade.
- Offer, perform or entertain any form of sex determination or sex selection — this is illegal under the PC-PNDT Act, and we comply fully.
- Use distressing medical imagery, or baby imagery, as an implied promise.
- Share a patient's story without their written, informed consent.
The frameworks we follow
- ART (Regulation) Act — governing assisted reproductive technology.
- PC-PNDT Act — prohibiting prenatal sex determination.
- ASCI / DMR advertising norms — governing honest healthcare advertising.
How we keep ourselves honest
Public claims are reviewed by our medical and compliance teams, and Telugu communication is reviewed by a native speaker so that emotion lands without overpromising. Before we publish anything, we ask one question: would a frightened, hopeful patient trust us more, or less, after seeing this? If the answer is "less", we don't publish it.
